ABOUT UCGF 2020
The University Consortium Graduate Forum (UCGF) is an annual event aiming as an opportunity for graduate students from UC members to share new knowledge, research ideas, and experiences in an open platform. It also encourages trans-disciplinary studies, promotes greater integration of research through strategic partnership among the UC members, as well as strengthens the relationship among the UC members.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, UCGF 2020 will be held fully virtual on December 10-11, hosted by Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Yogyakarta, Indonesia. It takes the theme of “Resilient Food and Agricultural System for Accelerating Economic Recovery: Strategy and Implementation”. Sub-theme includes:
- Sustainable production system
- Logistics and value chain
- Sustainable agribusiness
- Agro-industry 4.0
- Institutions and society
Coordinators at UC and non-UC member universities are invited to nominate their graduate students (Master or Doctoral) to submit extended abstracts. A maximum of five students per university will be accepted to present their research through oral-video presentation.
Besides oral presentation by the students, UCGF 2020 will also have keynote speeches from:
- Glenn Gregorio (Director of SEARCA)
- Jamhari (Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada)
To bring the students across universities to know each other better, virtual UCGF 2020 will also include agenda of students gathering and interactive session.
